REVOLT is a fantastic Kensington art/production space built to provide an immersive theatrical environment for events, shows and gigs.

We visited REVOLT today and spoke to Ryan, the owner, mastermind and developer of the venue. Ryan gave us a great run-down of the ways we could set up the con, the props and spaces available within the building and the design details involved.

We were given a floor-plan at the end of the tour and an injunction to come up with thematic rooms for certain games, and then we’re all going in the night before Sheepcon 2013 to help set it up!

The address of REVOLT is 12 Elizabeth St, Kensington, a short walk from both Kensington and Macaulay stations as well as the Route 402 bus line.

Sheepcon will be an all-day event divided into three sessions of 3.5 hour games with a 45 minute lunch break and an hour for dinner in-between. Macaulay Road, due West of Kensington station, has a number of cafes and fast food places to go during breaks.

Sheepcon will be a licensed event. So you will need to bring proof-of-age cards with you or no entry folks.

We will be looking for Game Master applications soon – so if you have a great idea for a game, or even a new system you want to try out, have a think and we’ll soon have a form for you to spruik it!
